Drawable in canvas

I want to draw a drawable on a canvas.
When I run the following code :

This is because the BitmapDrawable makes a Bitmap from the bitmap you provide it, and then creates a BitmapDrawable using it.
In your case, the bitmap you provide it is a bitmap with a lot of white pixels, and thus the Bitmap will have a lot of white pixels too (in the area where it is transparent). The bitmap will also have an inverted mask, since you
